The Rustic Road Frostbite Collection was introduced in 2006 and already has found a following among woodcarving collectors.

The Frostbite Collection includes Santas and Snowmen that are more whimsical than the Classic Collection.  Still, each carving is a one-of-a-kind, hand-carved original made of basswood harvested in Door County, Wis.  The carvings are between 6" and 12" tall and feature intricately detailed patterns, bright colors and magical expressions.

Erik paints each piece in multiple layers of acrylic and oil paint washes, providing a rich, antique-like appearance. He then coats the piece with a clear lacquer finish, resulting in a treasure that will last a lifetime.
